I am Amy Kafetz and I am a commercial solicitor based in Bracknell.
Who?
I’ve created a legal consultancy called Adaptable Legal Counsel™. This legal consultancy is not a law firm. Instead, it is a service providing business partnering services akin to those provided by an in-house legal counsel where you can procure my services on a flexible basis as and when you need them. You won't be charged an expensive hourly rate, instead you'll be charged a reasonable day rate.
What?
In 2019 there was a regulatory change opening up the provision of legal services in England and Wales. This meant that regulated legal services could be provided by a solicitor through a limited company (and other structures) meaning new models could be created outside of the traditional law firm model. As I am operating in this way I have cheaper overheads and so am able to provide services as explained below.
Why?
Cost-effective, flexible support: I am offering legal services charged at a reasonable day rate where you can obtain services as you need them.
Knowing your business: I am offering a service where I get to know your business and build a relationship with you by working with you as a business partner so I can provide the services usually provided by an in-house legal counsel.
A variety of commercial legal services: I can provide services from contract review, drafting, negotiation to compliance support to support with ensuring you meet company law requirements and of course general commercial legal advice. I can also work with you to assess your main risks and create bespoke services to help you ensure you have the right things in place to protect your business.
In-house legal team support: I can also assist existing in-house legal teams where they may need additional support such as during busy periods or absences.
